Several of my sister and brother-in-law's friends, our cousin and I got together and pulled off the most precious woodlands themed baby shower a few months ago and it turned out perfectly. π
If you saw me day of, you saw that 2:00 (and Sister) showed up and I was still wearing Russell’s shirt and hadn’t put on make up or fixed my hair, which is not uncommon when I plan things. However when it comes to doing something for my sister, there’s a whole other level of wanting things to be perfect. Not because she expects it in any way, but because if anyone deserves something nice and planned and perfect, it’s my sweet sister. She is the most selfless person in our family and in her friend groups who always goes above and beyond. She hosts all the things, stays up hours past reasonable bedtimes to make sure things are perfect and throughout whichever event makes sure everyone is taken care of and has a good time. So, it was our turn to shower her with love and prayers and presents and laughter as she and Andy prepared for the arrival of Baby Grayson.π...and it was our absolute honor.
Here are a few highlights. π
Cake and cookies by Cakes by Kailey. Y’all, my girl Kailey always comes through as I go back and forth and back forth of what i want for events I plan!
Trail Mix Bar
Both the tassel garland and banner are from Hobby Lobby!
My precious friend Alisa with My Copper Owl made these adorable woodlands themed onesies for Baby Grayson. She’s my go to person for all things custom!
The most precious (and only) thing that Sister requested was that guests bring books for Baby Grayson’s library. She asked that people write a note to him on the inside cover, so he knows how special these books are from people in his life.
Hello Handsome sign is from Hobby Lobby and Alisa made the little Grayson banner. π
Y’all know I’m a sucker for Mylar Balloons. These are from Walmart.
I ordered this woodland fingerprint tree from Megan H Studio on Etsy and it was the perfect sign in! I printed it to Walgreens as a board print 11x14.
Hopi’s friend Faith had this custom ordered even before she knew baby Grayson was on the way.ππ
How talented are Lindsey and Shara!?!
Hopi’s friend Heather had this made for her! How perfect is this?!
As always, in this history of Amanda puts so much pressure on herself when she plans things, none of this would’ve been possible without my sweet husband. From carrying and packing and unpacking all the things to blowing up all the balloons and picking up the cake and cookies—from helping me track down baby’s breath just in the nick of time (11:58-florist closed at noon) to bringing me a shirt to change into after he left because I obviously didn’t have time to steam mine. So thankful he’s the calm to my crazy or I would just be crazy all the time.
I’m so grateful for each of these precious ladies who co-hosted Baby Grayson’s shower! Thank y’all for tolerating my Google Spreadsheets and group texts! It wouldn’t have been nowhere near as awesome as it was without each of you and Lena, Faith and J-Lo-not pictured.
A few weekends after the woodlands baby shower, Jimmy and Faith hosted a family crawfish boil diaper shower, and it was a blast! Here are a few pictures. ❤️
So grateful for Baby Grayson and his parents and all of our friends and family who showered them with love!

In an effort to keep my blog in chronological order, I’ll be blogging on events from the last few months to get all caught up! π Once I’m all caught up I will continue to post on more regular basis, as a promise to myself. Thanks for stopping by!
