Engagement Picture Preview

The last post was so lengthy about getting ready for pictures, I wanted to do one on the actual session.

Our photographer Jenni is amazing. She was so flexible and helpful with all of the poses. I brought some ideas of things I had seen on Pinterest and we tried them out. It's funny how some things you see on Pinterest you think look SO precious and then you try it and it just doesn't work with your height or body or whatever! It was funny. You also don't think about how staring at the person you love for four hours straight gets a little...well not awkward, but funny. I just kept telling Russell that I loved him. I didn't know what else to say!

Something to keep in mind when you take pictures is where you're going to change.We changed outfits four times; I would recommend no more than that. All in the car.  Lighting is important as well. Jenni recommended we do ours near sunset and the pictures turned out AMAZINGLY.

We chose to do our on South Congress, at Town Lake and at Zilker Park! There were people everywhere! Russell and I are a pretty private couple, so it was a little awkward when people were watching us, but after about an hour in-we were completely comfortable! Plus I think it worked out better because I was blushing! ;)

I checked my email every day, multiple times for a preview and was beyond excited when I finally received this!
